However, there was an incident during my stay where someone stole the room key from the outside keybox and attempted to enter my room twice in the middle of the night. Despite this, the staff were incredibly helpful and ensured my safety for the remainder of my stay.

Be in no doubt this is a cheap hotel. No frills. But it knows whatxit is and does that well. The room was large., as was the bed. The room contained every amenity you would need, except the typically insecure hotel safe. Just minutes walk to the centre of Glenelg. If you want frills there are other hotels in Glenelg. If you want a cheap night in a clean, safe hotel, there's no need to look any further.
