Surprise request for deposit

When I first arrived everything was good until they said I had to give them $100 deposit for incidentals. When I reserved this hotel room no where did it say this. They said because I used Hotels.com I had to do this. If I used a Credit Card I would get it back in 3-4 business days. If I used cash I would get it back in the morning when I checked out. Never in my life have I ever had to do this. The room was paid for and I have always given a C.C for incidentals but not a deposit. Now as for my room: the toilet was broke and the bed spread had cigarette burn holes in it. On the bed skirt it had some kind of gel on it (I think). Called about my toilet being broke and guy at front desk came to see if he could fix it. Could not, so I was immediately moved to another room. This room was very clean and looked nothing like the first one. The rest of my stay was quiet and pleasant.

The room was handicap accessible which I needed. The room meet all my needs. Very Comfortable and clean. We were disappointed that with having a breakfast area, there was no breakfast items avaliable and no breakfast service at all. We had to go out for breakfast food. I would recommend that they have breakfast service for the hotel guests since there a breakfast room.

Decent hotel for the money

Very clean hotel and well appointed. Comfortable bed. No continental breakfast (which was not a big deal) they had juice and granola bars. The elevator was broken and some qreas the carpet was coming up in the hallway.

Clean, nice room. Pretty location. Friendly staff. Sadly, no amenities such as kleenex or breakfast. We'd stay there again, but would bring breakfast foods since none is served.
