Hi, this is still one of my favourite hotels. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Yes the bathrooms sparkle. The place is showing its wear and tear but it is heritage listed which must make repairs costly. I love the ambience of the place and the location is amazing

The back entrance from the parking shed was dirty and had a divey feel to it. The room was lovely and warm and the decor was Elizabethan, some may find that dated. The parking was a bit tricky if your vehicle was 4WD. Like the convenience of food places handy to the accomodation and it was surprisingly quiet for being located on Hamilton's Main Street.

Love the 20s-vibe of the furnishings and the vastness of its rooms - even the smallest room has space for an extra bed or two! The larger rooms are like a suite! And being central its great for restaurants and cafes just outside the door. This is our go-to hotel in the Tron every time :)
