As a Premium member, I will say this stay was extremely disappointing......due to a combo of flaws by both the unit owner and the 3rd party manager.
The unit itself is spacious and lovely, and it has a fabulous view of Lady Bird Lake and the entire city of Austin.
But here are the problems: Both bedrooms are underlit. In the master, there is ONE bedroom table lamp with no more than a 60 watt bulb. To be able to do anything when it's dark outside, a guest must turn on the closet light and leave the door open!
In the 2nd bdrm, there is, literally, an exposed light bulb hanging from a fixture with absolutely no shade, and on the other nightstand, there is a tin fixture which couldn't have cost more than $15!
There aren't enough kitchen utensils--a guest needs to wash all the forks, knives, and spoons after just two meals. There isn't a funnel or a set of large tongs
Here are even worse issues: The front desk can't solve ANY problems--they tell the guest to contact the 3rd party manager. All they do is provide keys to the apartment.
In the unit itself, there is absolutely no folder with critical info about the appliances, such as how to operate the washer/dryer or the microwave/oven. There isn't even a channel guide for the TVs.....which meant I couldn't watch either the NFL or the World Series--in spite of scrolling through hundreds of channels!
In my view, it's a shame to have a unit with such great potential be so poorly serviced by both the owner and 3rd party!
