Very Small rooms. Difficult furnishings.
First and foremost - the rooms are VERY small. Yes, big enough for a king bed, but:
- No work desk. Instead there is a small round high table with 2 stools. Very difficult to do any work here.
- Small closet cabinet takes space from the room. No luggage stand.
- Shower cabinet is so small that I had to open the door to pick up my soap (not enough room to bend over!)
- Amenities (coffee, tissues, toilet paper, soap, etc.) were all bargain-basement quality.
Other issues:
- The parking lot is not paved. While this may not be an issue in mid-winter, it definitely is in muddy April.
- All the rooms are on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator. A real problem if you have heavy luggage (or a bad back).
- The hotel is very close to an active train track, near a level crossing. Woken up twice overnight by the VERY loud train horns.
HOWEVER, the restaurant is excellent.
