I made a reservation two days in advance, but even by the evening of the check-in day, I had not received any instructions on how to check in or obtain the code to enter the building. I believe I would not have received them if I hadn’t contacted them myself. I did not find the operation to be professional, though I appreciate that they responded politely.
More importantly, the most troubling issue was that at 3 a.m and later., drunk people were shouting loudly in the hallway and knocked on my door twice at different times.
I was scared by the lack of security at this hotel and could hardly sleep out of fear.
I don’t know whether they are guests or outsider who had bypassed security, but the security measures were clearly insufficient to prevent unauthorized access from outside.
As seen in the photo, there was no reception desk on the first floor, and anyone who knows the code can freely enter. I strongly felt the need for enhanced security.
