Even though there may be pictures of a beach, there isn’t one on the property. The people of the island are very friendly and hospitable. The staff is very hospitable; however, be prepared for jaw dropping, turtle paced service. I ordered room service at 5:15P for delivery at 7P to make up for the slowness, and still didn’t get it until 9:30P. Trying to talk to management also lead to ghosting and overpromises. We paid extra for pool view and we experienced noisy parties throughout our stay. When they hold special events, they happen at the expense of paying guests, so be prepared for lack of seating and service at dining. Since I was warned about slow service by a previous guest, it seems to be something the resort has been doing for a while, and Hyatt doesn’t seem to want to change it. This is unfortunate because I think if this changed, the resort would be amazing.
