If you can get an ocean view room, then I would say everything is worth it! The view is spectacular, we saw seals daily and even saw orcas from the deck. The service was unfortunately a little lacking (there never seemed to be enough towels at the pool despite repeated requests). But, again, with views like that from your own room, I have no complaints.

Painters Lodge has potential. The new owners appear to be trying . The staff were great.meals were good although the menu was somewhat limited. The new owners have only been in place for a year. The property looks to be on a positive trajectory.
