It was hard to review because there are so many good things and some not good things. Honest reviews I believe good or bad I believe are necessary for whatever goal a business has in mind. So first of all the positive, the hotel is stunning, the history and the architecture are definitely worth seeing, staff is very friendly, always spoke good morning, good evening and appeared to be ready to assist. The stand out staff for me is Toni on of the bartenders was so kind and attentive and the evening server, she was very kind as well, there was another bartender that was not, she opening unfriendly to the waitstaff, refused to make and serve certain drinks a couple of hours before closing because there was no lime juice made, switched to only serving beer on a Friday night an hour before closing the bar, some people arrived a few minutes prior to the kitchen closing and she said no food, they had clearing been traveling all day to get there. But there is always one I guess. Issue with loud guests around our room, not the hotels fault and do not feel that is a common occurrence. Our toilet overflowed into the room, we were already moving due to our loud neighbors in the hallways after 4 am, so the toilet situation was not fun, not much was said about it just sent maintenance. It is an old building so I am sure the plumbing is not the best at times. Food was good for the most part, pricey for what it was $30 burger was just ok, convenient location to attractions and hwy, no views.
