Title: Disappointing Stay with Poor Service
Our experience at Pestana Grand Hotel was disappointing from the very first day. We had a serious issue with noise in our room caused by the hotel’s flags flapping loudly in the wind. When we called reception to report it, we were told they couldn’t remove the flags.
Additionally, one day our room was not cleaned. When we called reception to report this, we were told it was “impossible” and assured someone would come by with fresh towels. However, no one showed up, and I had to call reception again to get the issue resolved.
For a hotel that markets itself as a high-quality establishment, these service failures were unacceptable. Unfortunately, the lack of responsiveness and poor handling of issues made our stay far less enjoyable than we had hoped.
