DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH A CAT! We specifically booked at a pet friendly hotel and called the front desk ahead of our stay to verify it would be ok to have our cat with us. We were told there was a $100 pet deposit and assured it was fine. We arrived to check in and GABBY at the front desk refused to allow our cat to stay, saying we were welcome but cats are not. I asked how we could resolve this, if there was a manager on site(there was not) and if I could have a copy of the policy (to which I was told no). The least GABBY could have done was offer us a refund and to help locate another hotel, considering our cats were in the car and it was over 100° out, although my husband attended them and the AC was on in the car. We were still charged for the room and were forced to REBOOK AT PALMDALE HILTON HOME2SUITES, WHO WERE HAPPY TO BOOK US A BEAUTIFUL SUITE CAT FRIENDLY ROOM WITH A DISCOUNT. This Marriott is in a crappy location with shady people hanging out in the parking lot and terrible hospitality. I'm going Hilton all the way from now on. BTW, I GOT NO HELP FROM MARRIOTT CORPORATE OR HOTELS.COM, STOP PAYMENT WITH YOUR BANK IF THIS EVER HAPPENS TO YOU.
