Lovely hotel, we had a great weekend. My wife who has renal failure was particularly well looked after. Nick in the restaurant was a gem as was Esme in the breakfast room.

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed in 12 hotels during our Scottish road trip and this was definitely the best and also very good value for money. The room was very clean and had nice decor. Good quality towels and a large hot shower. Plenty of parking too. Handy for Ullapool's restaurants and a big Tesco just 5 mins walk away.

Looks a bit dated in places but it was nice and clean and the food was reasonably good. We had a meal in the bistro and breakfast. The bedroom itself was modern and clean with a surprisingly large bathroom.

Great price but room far too small, the sink in the bathroom is unusable. Breakfast gear and bar very good.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay at The Caledonian. The staff were great and very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The only complaint that we do have was that the mattress on our bed needed to be replaced. It was extremely soft and was collapsing at the sides, definitely time for a replacement!!
