Overall, it was pretty clean and comfortable. The beds weren't as quite comfy as they could've been (a little too soft), the shower water sometimes took forever to get hot, and the breakfast was OK but not amazing. However, the staff were all friendly and helpful. We also liked the location in the warehouse district, as it was less crowded and crazy, but there was still enough nearby in terms of restaurants and a streetcar stop.
Our main problem was that they were doing a lot of loud, noisy construction in the lobby that also mean there were no restrooms available in the lobby -- something they did not disclose in advance on their website or on hotels.com. We wouldn't have booked there if they had disclosed the dates of the upcoming construction, as we had done research and specifically chosen somewhere that our big group could hang out in the lobby. So it was kind of disruptive and unfortunate. But hopefully that's just a temporary thing that guests won't experience after next month.
