To be honest, we weren’t satisfied with our stay. We originally booked for 5 days, and only extended for 2 more because of my 9-year-old son’s insistence—he really loved the sea, and we didn’t want to move to a different hotel in the middle of our trip.
However, the experience was quite disappointing overall. First and foremost, what I expect from any hotel is a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable—flat and worn out like pieces of cloth. They also had stains on them, which made us question their cleanliness. My shoulders have been hurting for days.
I understand that the hotel is a bit older, but the A/C unit was incredibly noisy, to the point where it woke us up during the night. I can confidently say this was the least comfortable stay I’ve had among the many hotels I’ve stayed at in the U.S.
Sadly, I wouldn’t consider staying here again unless absolutely necessary, nor would I recommend it to others. I’ll also be sharing my honest review on Hotels.com and Google.
Lastly, while it’s not a big deal for me personally, I did notice that the hotel staff seemed to avoid eye contact and didn’t greet us at all during our stay. It’s not something I usually focus on, but it was noticeable.
