The accommodation did not meet the description or the photos in any acceptable way. Already at check-in there were problems, and the condition of the rooms was completely unacceptable. We found serious dirt, an unpleasant and unhygienic environment, dirty bed linen and dirty towels.
After several complaints, some bed linen and towels were eventually replaced, but the attitude remained indifferent and unhelpful, and the hygiene problems were not properly solved.
What was most disappointing was the support from Hotels.com / Expedia. For almost a week, we repeatedly tried to get help through phone calls and chats, but we received no concrete or useful assistance. Hotels.com kept referring us to the hotel, while the hotel kept referring us back to Hotels.com. In the end, nobody took real responsibility.
After a few days, we were forced to leave the accommodation and book another hotel through a different platform. Fortunately, we then found a proper, clean and acceptable accommodation under very good conditions.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. The accommodation was far below the advertised standard, the cleanliness was unacceptable, and neither the hotel nor Hotels.com / Expedia provided meaningful support when it was clearly needed.
