Initially it looked clean but we found old blood stains on one of the sheets then I saw a dried streak of blood on the wall above the headboard. When I walked to the bathroom barefoot I spilled some water on the floor and I grabbed a washcloth to wipe it up and the washcloth came up black! The floor couldn’t possibly have been mopped in ages. No note pad or pen in desk drawer either. One bed was nicely firm and comfortable. The other bed was very very soft and when I sat down on it the springs creaked. The microwave and frig was spotless and both worked well as did the air conditioner.

The first room smelled so bad like cigarettes we couldn't stay in it. The front desk lady was awesome and changed us without hesitation. The room we got after that was fine. It was quiet. We felt safe. Cereal, coffee and juice in the morning was great.

Clean and good value, but various minor issues

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and a good value. But, there were various minor problems indicating that it isn't run as well as it could be. Our room didn't have soap initially. Our bathroom vent fan stopped intermittently. There was a loose step on the staircase up to the room. Also, note that the free breakfast is marginal (packaged muffins, yogurt, boxed cereal, coffee, juice). The hotel is a good value but there is an element of "you get what you pay for."
