We had a wonderful experience at the Oltrarno Splendid. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and there was always fruit and goodies to munch on in the afternoon/evening. The entry to the building was very cool - felt like another era, and the decoration of the hotel is very interesting. Our rooms was very nice and spacious and we had a free bottle of Chianti, which was awesome.

I had a wonderful stay at Oltrarno Splendid and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. From the moment I arrived, Davide at the front desk made me feel so welcome. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to offer recommendations or answer questions. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Each morning I looked forward to breakfast and a cappuccino from the onsite café—it was such a lovely way to start the day. The location is another huge highlight. It’s in a fantastic part of Florence, within easy walking distance of all the major sights, while still feeling a little quieter and more local than some of the busier tourist areas. Everything about my experience exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return.

This is a beautiful historic B&B. The staff was very kind to us. The breakfasts were excellent, and they had tea, fruit, and cake available all day for snacking. We came during the slow season, so they upgraded our rooms. We loved the bathtubs, and the beds were very comfortable. We’d definitely come back next time we visit.
