My stay at Iclub Mong Kok Hotel was generally fine, but I encountered an unsettling issue regarding privacy. Despite placing a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, the staff—both cleaning personnel and front desk—frequently asked if I needed my room cleaned, which felt disruptive.
More concerning, on several occasions, hotel staff unexpectedly knocked on my door, requesting to inspect the fire alarm inside my room. While safety checks are important, these unannounced visits felt intrusive and lacked proper communication, making me feel disrespected as a guest.
If the hotel improves its handling of guest privacy and communicates these procedures more clearly, it could greatly enhance the overall experience. Until then, I would hesitate to return.
