"I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my stay at Hôtel LIGO by HappyCulture Marseille.
I fully acknowledge that I mistakenly booked one night less than intended and I accepted responsibility for this error. When the situation was brought to my attention, I immediately paid the additional charge without any dispute.
However, I was charged approximately €144 for the additional night, and the total amount paid to the hotel, including breakfast, was €425.75.
What I find unacceptable is that the room received no housekeeping service whatsoever. When we returned that evening, the room had not been cleaned, there were no fresh towels available, and the bed linens appeared used and had not been changed.
I was also surprised that no one from the hotel attempted to contact me or notify me that my reservation had ended while we were still occupying the room. A simple message, phone call, or notification could have clarified the situation much earlier and avoided confusion for everyone.
Most importantly, if the hotel knew the room was being occupied and decided to charge us for an additional night, why was the room not serviced accordingly? Why were there no clean towels? Why were the bed linens not changed?
The situation became even more unpleasant the following morning when the male receptionist on duty treated us in a rude and disrespectful manner. While I was standing at the front desk with my credit card in hand, actively paying the additional charge, he refused to"
