Nice place. Think of it as a French country motel. One room with a bathroom. Kitchen was small tight area in corner.outdoor space was nice. We brought in lunch from the market one day and ate outside surrounded by olive trees. .Hosts are very helpful and flexible. Nice easy walk to old part of town. 10 plus minutes depending on your speed. Follow the directions they send you to find and enter place. I recommend.
Amazing place!! It’s stunning from when you arrive, when you’re strolling around their farm property, and into your room! I will definitely want to come back to just stay at this beautiful property! Everything was perfect!
Just excellent - the hotel is wonderful, like a dream and the staff is very kind. We visited with our baby and they provided us a crib and baby bath free of extra charge. And Lourmarin is the best village in the Luberon. We already can’t wait to return to the Moulin and our favorite village.
We had a great stay. Nice and comfortable room, quiet hotel, places in the hotel to relax outside the room, excellent breakfast, caring host. We were there off season so we did not get to enjoy the grounds, which looked fantastic.
This property is absolutely amazing. It was clearly built as a labor of love by the owner, Jourdan. Gorgeous stone and marble construction. Beautiful pool area with views down to the farmlands and Luberon mountains of Provence. Stephanie was incredibly helpful with all aspects of our visit. The Petit Déjuener is superb with wonderful pastries, baguette, fruit, cheese and meats. Great Cappuccino! And various juices and locally made yogurt.
The property is slightly remote. Great for rest and...
This is a genuine retreat for anyone that needs to drop out and disconnect for a few days. The staff is friendly and helpful, though be advised, this is a working winery and they are as likely to be in the fields as in the office! Be sure to ask for a wine tasting. :-)
The room was comfortable and clean,as was the general property condition. The breakfast buffet was very nice and we especially liked the coffee machine. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Somewhere we read that the bath was in a separate room so we were put off but when we checked in it was the normal layout with bathroom as it should be except super clean.
Very nice stay, only reason for downgrade was lady above us walked on the wood floor with high heels. Maybe carpet on the second floor would be better. So when you book ask for upper floor.
However another guest said no wifi on second floor. It was fine in our room.
The room was gorgeous and very historic. Website said the property has an elevator, which isn’t true for some parts. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to help haul my luggage up the 3 flights of stairs. It was a bit precarious bringing it all down to check out. The breakfast was absolutely lovely.
The room was small but cozy. It lacked a view, but the window provided good airflow. It fit my solo traveling needs perfectly. Good central location, clean, comfortable, friendly staff who spoke English, and good wifi. A bit noisy at night, but in fairness I left the window open.
Delightful and beautiful - a perfect stay in this special part of the world. The setting is really special. We loved being close to but not actually in the old walled village. The pool was an added amenity - a peaceful and comfortable oasis after a busy day. The room was cozy and charming. The breakfast was simple and delicious - fresh breads, local yogurt and fruit juices and other treats. Would stay here again if I am lucky enough to be in this part of the world!
This location was right in the middle of everything! We loved being so close we didn’t have to use a car. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful to soak in. If you enjoy being close to breakfast, coffee, pastries, shopping, dinner, late night dining and markets, this is the place for you. Did I mention this used to be a convent? Extremely interesting history.
