The owners put a great deal of thought into making the room exceptional. The beds were so fresh and comfortable that I thought I was in a resort. My husband and I wanted a quiet place to spend some time together. This place was perfect for that. However, it was cold and raining so perhaps that is why it was quiet. The food was excellent and the people friendly.
I booked 8 rooms for a golf tournament and everyone was very pleased with their rooms and the facility! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating to some of the changes that I requested. The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were fresh and clean. I would recommend Jolly Roger very much!
This was our first time in Parry Sound, and we were not disappointed. The location, while not scenic, is close to restaurants, fuel, and shopping (There's a Walmart behind the hotel.), and it's not a far drive from the harbor. I have stayed there on several occasions and have had a great experience every time. I really like the updates that occur constantly. This stay found brand new comfortable mattresses in all the rooms. Never have found anything at this motel that I didn't like, and if I ever do find something not to my liking I am sure the staff would make it right.
