there's a place downtown where you can get authentic Jersey style subs. I grew up in north Jersey, and I can tell you its true. Also a great and huge brewery.

Loved the Waterloo area, lots to see and do. Hotel was okay, nothing out of the ordinary
"Great price, property is nice (parking lot is a little worn), close to food, gas and perfect if you like to take walks.
Easy access to Fwy. Front desk were very smiley but not much on the rest of staff.
Worth a stay.

"Fourth time staying here. We come to Waterloo every year for the Iowa Irish Fest, and even though they are busy, they're always kind and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable"

"Nice place, but not much to do in the area as it was connected to the convention center where nothing was going on. Walking distance to Dan Gable Museum. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet until some very loud people moved in next door. We called the front desk and they handled it immediately with no problems after. Good breakfast. Pay parking in parking garage across the street."
