Wonderful friendly people, charming rooms, spectacular views both in the day, at sunset (straight on view over the valley) and at night (black sky, tons of stars). HUGE tasty breakfast, complementary chardonnay, just so pleasant and relaxing in every way.
This hotel was very clean. I reviewed a lot of hotels in the area. It took me awhile to find one with good reviews. I was very happy with this hotel. They had a good breakfast as well. Friendly staff.
Is a nice, clean hotel. The fridge also had a freezer which is great for keeping ice packs frozen! Many amenities. Slept very well! Breakfast was good. The staff at breakfast were very nice and friendly- especially the lady with light-up Christmas antlers on her head!! Would definitely stay again. The only negative was the $50 per fee, which I believe would’ve been for each day.
The cabin was so cute and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. There was both a window AC unit and a little space heater, which given the season (mid October), I made use of both...it was warm the day I checked in so I had the fan on the window unit on, then overnight the temps plummeted, and I had to switch to the heater, which was very effective and kept me nice and toasty. It was a little bit of a rough awakening having to go to the separate bathroom building in the rain one morning, but...
Our room was immaculate, the bed was luxuriously comfortable, and the breakfast was scrumptious every morning. The staff was friendly and very helpful, providing suggestions for things to do and additional local information. Highly recommend staying here
Loved the privacy, peacefulness, cleanliness of the room, comfortable beds. It was a short drive into Gettysburg from here. Definitely worth staying and we would stay here again
My partner and I stayed here for two nights, and had a relaxing little vacation away from the bustle of D.C. Olga was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. She cooked omelettes bright and early every morning, and always had coffee, tea, and snacks available throughout the day.
There are a lot of vineyards and breweries nearby to visit, and the air-conditioned rooms were a comfortable retreat from the afternoon heat. The house was pristine, gorgeously decorated, and the view of the...
Quiet, clean rooms and friendly staff. Several amenities within walking distance to include a grocery store, pharmacy and various restaurants. Several other restaurants within a short driving distance.
Hotel was kept very clean and nice. Signs about expectations of noise level and appropriate behavior. Which we loved as we were having long days out and needed very quiet evenings and nights for our kids.
It was the perfect place for a large family to stay!
