Love this place --staff, security, my suite, coffee and food was 5 star....Met the owner and his daughter and what a great story they had to share. I can nit express enough gratitude on how they made my stay PERFECT. Only place to stay in JOBURG....coming back in a few months...

Every aspect of our stay was intentionally welcoming. From the welcome beverages to the bedside treat, we felt cared for every moment of our stay. The tour of the sanctuary allowed us to have an inside look into the life of Nelson Mandela. Each person at the sanctuary told us more about the beautiful history of his time there. We highly recommend a stay at the sanctuary to all who visit Johannesburg. The meals were exceptional and designed with a global perspective. Each dish has its own story....

We loved our stay! The staff were so kind and accommodating. The site was safe and private. It gave for a real South African experience and atmosphere.

I absolutely love this hotel. It is lovely and charming. The staff is really nice and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic.

Nice place to stay at area is safe and the premises are conducive i wouldnt mined staying there again.

The Nicol is close to my offices in SA, so location was key. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the apartment-style rooms are. Much better than staying in a typical hotel room. But the best part of The Nicol is the staff! Super friendly, super professional. This is the main reason I will be back.

This hotel is just wow. The hospitality, the breakfast, the room, my family and I really enjoyed our stay. I don’t think we’ve ever been somewhere that was as attentive to detail then the palazzo. They made sure everything was going smoothly in our trip and checked in multiple times to make sure that we were safe and having fun. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I know traveling to Jo’burg.

Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood in Johannesburg. Staff was lovely and the roof top bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property

Spent my honeymoon at the Houghton Hotel and from being greeted with a rose and complimentary glass of wine, we knew it would be a pleasant experience. From the front desk staff to the restaurant we were well taken good care of! Our room was beautiful and spacious. Delicious food and most friendly staff, we loved Sisa! Will absolutely come again and recommend!
