After a bit of a rough start on the day of check in, we came to love Golden Sand. What we loved: 1) The drinks! Vasilis is an excellent bartender. We tried a variety of cocktails and every one was spot on. His golden zombie is the best! 2) Location - perfect spot across from the beach. There are beach loungers that are complimentary to guests, but know they are only the last two rows. The first two rows must be paid for. We traveled up and down Plaka and this end was quieter with more...

This place is great. It’s a little further from the beach but still very accessible. The people are overwhelmingly, friendly and very welcoming. The pool is amazing. My kids jumped in and thought it was a lake. It’s gotta be at least 12 feet deep and it’s quite large surrounded by cabanas with swings. The breakfast included with your rate is something to write home about all sorts of local treats that you can try and again it appears to be a three generation staff. They’re very, very kind and...

I couldn’t find a bad thing to say about Ammothines even if I tried! What a wonderful place to stay. It’s a family owned hotel and they make you feel like family when you stay there. Smiling faces everywhere and help whenever you need it. We didn’t eat dinner there, but had breakfast and lunch every day and the food was lovely, probably one of the best chefs at all the hotels in Naxos!
