Learn more about Magnolia
Beyond the magnolia trees that give this small Texas town its name, downtown reveals a slice of Americana where antique shops and local eateries serve up genuine hospitality. Tee off at High Meadow Ranch Golf Club or spend an afternoon at Edgewater Park when the weather cooperates. Lake Conroe beckons nearby with fishing, boating, and waterfront restaurants that transform ordinary sunsets into memorable occasions. The Texas Renaissance Festival appears each fall like a medieval mirage, complete with jousting knights and turkey legs the size of small clubs. Oil Ranch offers a taste of farm life that delights visitors who've never met a longhorn up close. For a truly local experience, ask residents where to find the best chicken fried steak – then prepare for passionate debate.

"I stayed at IAH Marriott the night before an early morning flight and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Tge airport train transported me between terminals very easy. The on-site Flight’s Lounge & Grill looked like a great dinning option, although I didn’t have a chance to try it. Overall, a convenient and comfortable choice for an overnight stay before an early flight."
