Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. Love the theme rooms! We were in town for a horse show and were lucky enough to get the Christmas room. The girls loved it!
