Downtown Ocean City brings classic boardwalk fun to life with a wooden promenade stretching along Atlantic beaches. Families flock to amusement piers where Ferris wheels spin against ocean views and the smell of saltwater taffy fills the air. The Ocean City Boardwalk buzzes with arcades, mini-golf courses like Pirate Island, and the nostalgic sounds of carnival games. Casual seafood spots and pizza joints keep hungry beachgoers fueled between adventures. The area is extremely walkable with seasonal jitney shuttles connecting beach points when your feet need a break. Motels and beachfront hotels cater perfectly to families looking for that quintessential shore vacation.

This area shines with casual beachfront cafes serving fresh seafood and American classics. Vacation rentals and boutique inns dominate the accommodation scene, most with ocean views and private decks. Learn more about Ocean City
A family-friendly seaside paradise where the boardwalk stretches for 2.5 miles of pure nostalgic pleasure. Take a spin on the Ferris wheel at Playland's Castaway Cove for Atlantic Ocean views that explain why generations return each summer. The wooden planks host an irresistible parade of saltwater taffy shops and arcade games at Jilly's, where children still beg for 'just one more quarter.' Ocean City Beach offers guarded swimming without the distraction of alcohol sales – this dry town has maintained its wholesome character since 1879. After sundown, families compete at Pirate Island Golf before returning to the boardwalk for soft-serve ice cream. Come fall, locals reclaim their paradise while insisting the ocean is actually warmer than in summer.

The Crossings
"The staff was helpful and accommodating. Other than that everything was fine."
The Coral Sands Motel
"The room was perfectly clean. There was fresh - newish? - tile on the bathroom floor and walls, newish flooring in the room, and newish ceiling tile. The bed wasn’t great but was really fine. The microwave, tv were handy and the 2 mini fridges were evidently just cleaned. The window on the sea side (2 blocks down) opened wide with a good screen and great breeze. Our dog was welcomed by host and fellow guests - most of whom also had dogs. Front office staff — we met two shifts of staff - were very warm and friendly and helpful. However, first impression of front office was a tiny dingy hole - could be spruced up just to make you feel you arrived somewhere that in good shape. Also there were bags of trash at the foot of the guest stairs - would have been nice if they had been in trash cans or bins of some kind. Great that there was parking. Our car just fit but if you have a wider vehicle it wil be a tight squeeze. Overall, terrific value for money, we’d go back."
The Cove
"Well priced, clean rooms, hot showers, updated bathrooms, decent swimming pool, plentiful parking, and close to shops and boardwalk. It was honestly a lot better than what previous reviews made the place out to be. Family stayed the first night and we stayed through the weekend. 10/10 would come back and recommend to others."
Sifting Sands Motel
"It’s your typical beach motel, it was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful, easy access to everything so you never have to get back in your car."
Biscayne Suites
"We especially appreciated Linda at the desk when we had to leave early. Her kindness and concern were deeply appreciated."
Ocean 7
"Fantastic stay and close to the beach!"
The Surf Club
"It was fine for one night. But the room was SMALL and we found they had more of the same rooms available for close to $100 less than we paid. It was clean enough. No staff to speak of except for a remote dude talking to you from who knows where. It’s kinda feels like someone bought an old hotel and flipped it to make it look more modern?"
The Forum
"Very clean the room and the guy on the front desk very nice available parking! Definitely we will be back"
The Atlantic, BW Signature Collection
"We loved the cleanliness of this hotel. Loved that it was updated too. Parking was a plus. The shampoo, conditioner and soap station was great having it there for convenience, but they were empty. We absolutely love this place! Will come back often!!!"
