Learn more about Racine
Beneath the shadow of Frank Lloyd Wright's SC Johnson headquarters, a marvel of organic architecture open for tours, Lake Michigan's waves lap against North Beach's golden shore. The Root River winds through downtown, where kayakers paddle past historic buildings housing art galleries and cafés. Wind Point Lighthouse stands sentinel on the lakeshore, offering panoramic views worth the climb. At the Racine Zoo, families delight in close encounters with red pandas and giraffes. The Racine Heritage Museum chronicles the city's industrial past, from malted milk balls to Little Golden Books. Don't miss kringle—a Danish pastry that's practically the official food—best enjoyed at local bakeries where the oval-shaped treats come in dozens of flavors.

The Pfister Hotel
"I absolutely adore this hotel! From the check-in where they were able to allow us early check-in, to their help with parking and a bad key, every single employee we encountered was absolutely exceptional. We had drinks in the lobby bar and a lunch at The Cafe, excellent. Although we did not eat at the Mason St Grill restaurant in the hotel, we did go to Zarletti's Italian restaurant located just half a block from the Pfister, one of the best meals we have had on this roadtrip. Also enjoyed going to the swimming pool on the 23rd floor of the hotel, and the Milwaukee Art Museum which is just a short walk away on the lakeshore. The interior of the lobby is decorated with lavish artwork, and they have a large collection of Victorian paintings. For a hotel that has been in continuous operation since 1893, this is definitely a grande dame of Milwaukee hotels. The room itself was very well furnished, and the beds were comfortable. If we ever find ourselves in Milwaukee again, we would definitely try to book a room here, an exceptional experience."
Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel
"Fantastic hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Will stay there again if we find ourselves back in Milwaukee."
The Iron Horse Hotel
"Parking challenge. Misinformed about the use of Expedia extras"
Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel
"Hotel is safe and in a good location, with a large mall nearby, and several national chain restaurants."
Travelodge by Wyndham Water’s Edge Hotel - Racine
"The room was clean and close to the function I was attending. The staff were helpful and friendly and parking was on-site. My visit was enjoyable."
Hotel Verdant
"This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, very high-end for the price. They were celebrating a 3 year anniversary during my stay. The location is great for walking around downtown Racine. The square just outside the hotel is a public space with frequent small markets and festivals, but on the 4th floor, the noise from the festival didn’t bother me at all. A+++ for the linens, bathroom, bed and quiet HVAC. Parking was a very reasonable $5 / day in a secure lot."
Potawatomi Hotel & Casino
"The property was great, clan and well maintained. We had a great time exploring the varieties of restaurants. The valet staff could definitely use some training in manners. Other than that overall good stay"

The Brewhouse Inn & Suites
"Staff was amazing..shout out to Danny who drove the shuttle to the Brewer Game and then manned the Valet desk. Parking garage was convenient ...less expensive than the Valet. But Valet would be a nice option. Very lovely coffee shop within walking distance. It was interesting to see the history about the hotel and the items that were preserved."
