Excellent room, grounds and garden and service

Stay was excellent. Very wonderful place. Best place to relax in the island. Very calm and quiet. Beautiful scenic with lake and mountains and sunset scenery. Best food like home made. Authentic rajasthani dishes. But it's far off from Udaipur and airport about 54kms. Normally the cab serices charge more than double of normal charges (about rs. 3500 to 4000 equivalent to $50 USD). Compared to congested Udaipur old city lake side hotels it's one of the best places even for hosting parties and...

The service was not exceptional here. The staff took care of minute details. The rooms were clean and renovated. The only drawback was that there was no power backup here in case of loss if electricity which can happen sometimes otherwise everything was fantastic and the service compensated for that.

The Parallel Hotel is a cozy, stylish and serene oasis in Udaipur with refined decor, stunning hill and lake views, two excellent restaurants serving all-vegetarian cuisine, a thoughtfully designed gym and courteous staff throughout the establishment who are attentive to every detail. Worth all 5 stars!

Polite, professional and welcoming.

If you are looking for a classy palace to stay in Udaipur, with all the attractions within an arm's stretch Fateh-Prakash is your best bet hands-down (eyes-closed). We wanted to be close to the iconic Lake Pichola; and at the same time bear close proximity to the tourist spots such as The City Palace Museum, Crystal Gallery, The Vintage Car Collection and et all ...and therefore chose this hotel for our stay of 3-4 nights. You can hear dog and buffalo noises outside the room. Parking is also paid and at a govt lot Other than that it’s a good property no complains. Thank you for your service

There are 2 roof decks, food is good, restaurant prices in line with other hotels I stayed in during my 2 weeks in Rajasthan. From the roof deck one could see that most other nearby rooftop restaurants were empty, so they are clearly doing something right.
