"A lovely welcome at check-in, followed by a good night stay. Convenient hotel with easy walk to Knaresborough. The only chaotic bit was breafast. 2 staff members running around and we're quite abrupt with guests (and myself included). Next time, I'd probably skip breakfast and go up the road to a cafe!"

"Always have a lovely stay at the Crown. The breakfast cooked to order is lovely. All of the different sitting areas in the hotel are quirky and well furnished to sit for a drink/coffee or just for a chat, or you can help complete the current jigsaw that is on the go. The pool etc is good and if you choose to forgo your room clean they leave additional supplies in a paper bag on the handle of your door so you don't go short of tea/coffee etc. The bathrooms are a bit dated but very clean with nice toiletries The staff were all lovely and accommodating"

"Excellent service staff very friendly and attentive rooms clean and nice amenities easy walk in to town exceptional breakfast service first class would certainly recommend we have stayed here several time and it gets better and better ."
