This is a huge retro hotel from the Hungarian socialist era. Amazing dining hall, 1960 style. Standard rooms are basic, very comfortable, great view of Balaton. Bathroom fixtures are 40-50 years old... we loved them. I just hope that management won't "modernize" this place... It has a "club med" or young socialist pioneer camp feel to the place. Fantastic pool, private beach, breakfast and dinner (all-you-can-eat) included. Great staff...
It was wonderful, the hotel is located just minutes from the beach, breakfast was delicious with home backed goods. The hotel has a great wellness area with whirlpools, jacuzzi and saunas. Everything was clean and very good. The staff was professional and friendly at the same time. Thank you!
This accomadation was truly unique in that it gave direct easy access to the Balaton lake and also the main road with easy parking. It felt like home away from home with wonderful kitchen, incredible shower (often rare in Europe) and cozy amenities such as a swedish dry sauna and large screen TVs. The picnic basket breakfast were a special touch and complimentary use of the bikes was wonderful A great value overall and i would stay again... and again.
This place was very nice, clean & comfortable. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and the food & drinks were delicious. Its a short walk to the lake and a quick drive into town. The staff was very helpful & friendly as well.
Beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable and quiet. Well located with easy walking access to the historical castle district. Would highly recommend! Easy parking, included breakfast was so good with lots of choices! Staff spoke English - easy to communicate.
