"The property was nicely situated, amongst trees in a small old office park. Although the back rooms are right against the highway and some front rooms are right against a mini basketball court, otherwise quiet with leaf peeper fall tourists. Very weird that they charge $10 for parking when it is in a semi rural setting, something my travel site did not highlight. The room layouts were nice, as was having a kitchen/living area. Vanity area was spacious, great hot water and water pressure. Bathroom and kitchen were perfectly cleaned, very rare compared to some other mid to budget level hotels in the area (& I have tried almost all of them). Staff were with-it and professional. Breakfast area very welcoming & not cold & institutional like many other hotels. Buffet area and selections were nice, but quality of the eggs & sausage a little unappetizing. My mattress was in dire need of replacing: it was squishy and very concave on both sides, so it did a number on my generally good back. Sheets were 50/50 polyester but at least not 100% that a lot of hotels are using in the area. Aside from mattress it was overall a very pleasant stay."

"We stayed in the Mill, the older section of the property. The guest room was spacious and clean. The room was well-equipped, with a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee pot. We shared a balcony overlooking the lake with the other rooms on our level. The staff were super-helpful. They would send us a text message almost every day, asking if we needed anything. A quick climb down the stairs ended up at the hot tub, which was very relaxing after a long day of hiking. The Traditions Restaurant was charming, and the food was excellent as far as quality and value. The servers were also very friendly and helpful. Be aware that the restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday. If you arrive on a different day, be prepared to go offsite (i.e. to another town) for food."

"Stayed here for the weekend with my kids to see fall foliage & relax. The campground is amazing with many things to do near by. You do need to bring your own linens and clean up after yourself. The cabin wasn’t to clean when we got there but I had cleaning supplies on hand so it wasn’t an issue for me. The views and private beach in front of our cabin was breathtaking. Can also rent kayaks, paddleboat and canoes there. A lot of activities at the place to entertain everyone"
