"The hotel is older, but the location was good and staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that was odd was we wanted to turn the heat up in our room and had to get the maintenance man to come as we couldn’t get it to work. He told us they turn the heat off until winter. This was September with cool evenings so I’m not sure when they actually turn the heat on. We asked for a space heater which was provided and with the space heater the room was a comfortable temperature for us."

"My room was great as it was more like a mini apartment with a kitchenette and a living area separate to the bedroom. The free onsite laundry facility was really useful as I’ve been travelling several weeks. I liked the fact the place was more homely than a standard hotel room. I unfortunately bought a whole load of food but this was unnecessary given the wide choice of breakfast that was available! The only thing I would have liked is black/ breakfast tea bags in the room (grateful for the kettle! And not just a coffee machine) and in breakfast room to be able to have oat or soya milk. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is not a new property. Although older, it is well maintained. It was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. We had breakfast together in one suite and a few lunches or dinners as each room does have a kitchen. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub/ sauna. The outdoor shuffle board was so much fun. Add the underground parking and a perfect location. Can't be beat!"
