We enjoyed this as our final stay in Norway after 2 weeks. It was idyllic, scenic, and we loved the hens and chicks free ranging on the property! So cute. The only confusion was that there isn't any signage directing you where to go when you arrive. We accidentally went to the door of their main home that is pictured in the Expedia listing, instead of the home that is the rental described. I had to message them when we arrived for clarification. Other than that, the stay was very relaxing....

The bed was huge, a little too big for the size of the room but the room was clean. The room was cute, kind of the old village style atmosphere. The view of the lake was beautiful and the complimentary breakfasts were "delightful"! Ginger shots, caviar, and fresh fruit smoothies daily. It's about 40 miles from the city which is a challenge for taxi service but the staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed my stay.

We spent a pleasant 3 nights here. The hotel has a bright, quirky contemporary decor that might be hard to live with long term but is cheerfully uplifting for a short stay. The motion-detecting light that comes on every time you walk into the open plan bathroom is disconcerting, and not quite as good an idea in practice as it sounds in theory, at least when sharing a room. This hotel was amazing! I was traveling with my two adult children and we had the perfect room - a “family” room. I called before we arrived to see if we could get a room on the wharf side and when we hot there they had made it happen! The breakfast was delicious and had so many options. We never left hungry! It is right by the fish pier so all of the things you may want to do are within walking distance or a bus stop. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else - this place is wonderful!!!
