We are the parents of four daughters who came with us to your hotel. We were all delighted by the beauty of the building and surroundings of the property. The cleanliness and care was excellent, as was the service and interest of our needs being met while we were there. We wish we had planned to stay longer and will do so next time we come.
Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice.
Hotel Kroondomein Giethoorn was incredible! The accommodations were fantastic and the property manager was incredibly helpful. We highly recommend renting a boat.
The location is amazing and having a great access to the Lake the spacious for small family of 6 ( young children) , near to the parking lot, every thing can be accessed by the boat great experience, I do recommend it since it’s close to all of the places
