It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.
When we arrived, the manager was called to tell us that unfortunately the hotel had been overbooked and our room had been given away. Needless to say, we were NOT HAPPY - especially because we had booked many months previous. Maik, the manager apologized profusely and told us that he had secured an oceanfront condo just a few hundred meters away for us.

This is a beautiful place for couples or a family. You can do a romantic dinner at Sentido Norte - kids not allowed. There are other options like Pot & Bowls, Ponciana, or Papagayo brewery. Beach club food isn't bad either, however, you will have to pay extra for access. I recommend, if you are staying for at least 5 days and have a car, to buy groceries at a supermarket so you can do your own cooking. The on-site gourmet market is very expensive.

We had a fantastic stay at Epic Tamarindo! The property is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently close to several beaches. The rooms are spacious, and we absolutely loved the private plunge pool. We’ll definitely be back!
My husband I have have stayed at this hotel 2 times now and really like the staff, facilities and the location. It’s located in perfect walking distance to whatever you are looking for. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this goes
Such a beautiful place! Right on the beach. Away from the hustle of central Tamarindo. The staff was super pleasant and helpful and the breakfasts were delicioso!!!

This hotel is on the beach, has amazing grounds, and a chef who worked with my crazy dietary restrictions. There were two other guests who also had food intolerances/allergies, and both were easily accommodated.The breakfast buffet had many fabulous choices. The staff encourages you to order anything else you don't see ...Bacon, fried eggs, omelettes. We drank the 'house water' (from the filtered tap at the bar) the entire time and didn't get sick. (We're from Texas) They also provide a 1.75...
When we arrived there was a hiccup at airport / rental car. I was very concerned but called Thisbee. She calmed me, explained options, and was a trusted colleague. The owners went well above their “jobs” to assure our stay was perfect, and it was.
