It was an interesting design of room. But we had a natuural hotspring onsen CEDAR tub in room. So refreshing to soak in it. Great japanese dinner and breakfast included.
Such a great place to stay! So close to the bathhouses, shops, and park, but also tucked away enough to have a good night sleep. They have AC for when it gets hot at night. The hosts were 10/10! Really friendly and helpful in recommending places to go and see in town and nearby.
Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice.
Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas).
Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air...
