This was my first time visiting okinawa. I was confused about where to stay on this big island. I am very happy I picked Naha terrace. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but only 10 minutes walking to it. The hotel is very quiet and clean. Just 15 minutes walking to the ferries to Zamami and Aka island. Nice staff. Thank you.
Pros:
BEAUTIFUL hotel, views, beach and it's immaculate.
Cons:
-For being 10min from Naha, there is definitely a language barrier at this hotel. 1 doorman spoke broken English, that's it.
-Literally in the middle of an industrial area. MAKE SURE to get a shuttle bus schedule. It will take you to a fish market (a few sushi restaurants), a mall with a beach nearby (with a food court, so you're not paying $35 for a mediocre dinner at the hotel), an aquarium, an outlet mall, a couple of beaches,...
The host was extremely nice and helpful. The house is very well decorated and everything is well thought, felt like our house. The location might be challenging if you don’t have rental car, but since we had a car it was convenient.
As described, well stocked, great location, had appliances and if any issues communicate with company and they will resolve. Overall a great experience
We took a shot in the dark with booking, as we have never been to Japan and didn’t really know anything about Aka. We were BEYOND surprised with this stay. Absolutely amazing. Food wonderful, location perfect, cleanliness 10\10, sunset views insane. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. Thank you!
Our first time to this hotel; an experience that would have us return. Late night front desk staff welcoming us after midnight. Room functional; bathroom features great.
Buffet breakfast daily...a nice way to start the day with traditional, local foods. Staff in the restaurant very hospitable. Front desk staff very helpful. Good location.
Overall a good experience.
Thank you!
Fantastic hotel that sits near the Tomari Port for Ferries also very close to Kokusai Dori which is the most popular street of food and shops.
10/10. Room had real down comforters and very nice pillows.
