From check-in to check out, everything was fabulous. The rooms were tidy and clean. The staff was entirely friendly spoke several languages that I noticed.
The grounds inside and outside were beautiful and well kept. The breakfast included was superb and wonderful!
A bus stop is conveniently located a block away around the corner. Bike rentals and other discounts available were nice to enjoy.

The photos do not do this property justice. The rooms look old in the photos and that could not be further from reality. The rooms are freshly renovated and the motif makes them appear in photos to have faded paint and furnishings, this is due to the color aesthetic not coming through in the pictures.
We were upgraded to a larger room, which was very nice and comfortable. All the amenities were in good order, and the staff was great, particularly with restaurant recommendations. We'd happily come back!
This was a great place for us to stay while visiting Venice. It is a charming building and hotel and our room was very nice - new, clean and modern. It is a very short walk to catch the water taxi to Venice, with many restaurants near and between the hotel and water taxi - perfect. The staff went out of their way to provide a high level of attention and service. They handled the parking of our rental car with no problem, which we did not use while there. I highly recommend the Ausonia Hungaria.
The hotel is clean, conveniently located, and very cute. Taking the advice from a previous reviewer, we got a canel view (rm3), and we loved it so much. It can be noisy if you’re sensitive to noise but didn’t bother us (in fact we slept so well). The location is excellent, walkable to all areas we wanted to go (Rialto 5m, St Mark’s 10m, Guggenheim 20 m) - but of course you get lost in Venice, so it’ll take longer. Super friendly and helpful staff. We arrived very early and they held our bags while we went sightseeing. The breakfast buffet has ample options in addition to having fresh juices and delicious cappuccino.
