When someone says “feel at home”, this is what it should be. There wasn’t anything I lacked, and the hosts went out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable. Breakfast on a veranda with a view, the sounds of birds and sheep moving up into the hills in the morning, it was lovely. An excellent hidden gem, I plan to come back again for sure. Grazie!
Great property which is close to hiking and local eateries. I would definitely come back. The town is small, but rich in history. Antonio made sure we found the place and recommended a great pizza place.
The property itself is beautiful in a historical area of Gesturi . Ignazio, the owner is very accommodating and helpful and friendly . Their family make a delicious bread from scratch for breakfast . They make wine , they make cheese, they provide fruits from their farm and more . For breakfast, it’s all organic food from their farm .
Omu Axiu is exactly what we needed to get the feel of Sardinia. After how busy Cagliari was and even Costa Sud, it was a dream to get to the hotel and homestead. Monika and Claudia made us feel so welcome and fed us like royalty for dinner and breakfast. very rustic atmosphere which is what we were looking for.
