The room and bathroom were clean, spacious and the lighting was great. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious offering a wide array of things to choose from including delicious Italian baked goods.

The hotel staff were wonderful, offering suggestions about the local attractions. You get the real feel of Naples walking the small streets of Quartiere Spagnoli. Will definitely stay at Il Convento on our next trip to Naples.
Clean and comfortable. Very nice accommodations. Checking in late was not straight forward but Praise God one of the residents knew who to call to get us connected with checking in. Caserta is a very nice town and the people were very friendly. For after hours check in go to Tropicana Cafe on the right. They have the key. Breakfast is bread and cafe, no protein is offered.
Our balcony was a nice amenity and worth the increased room rate to walk out onto the balcony. We saw the Royal Palace just outside our room and a lively piazza. The balcony door did insulate the room from street noise. Traffic below the balcony was heavy from 5pm to 9pm, but quiet afterwards. The bathroom had big fluffy towels and a nice free standing drying rack. The shower was spacious shower. The bed comfort was satisfactory. There are adequate electrical outlets for charging...
This was true Italy. Our host was very friendly and accommodating. He fixed us up the best breakfast of our trip.

We enjoyed a spectacular sunrise over the town with Mt Vesuvius as a focal point in the distance. It ended with a rainbow!

What no one tells you is that the town is very run down and not pleasant. Think that’s why the hotel is behind a closed gate! Kinda strange. But most people just come to visit the palace.
