Best breakfast we’ve had in Italy. The staff was super friendly and professional. Don’t try to come here without a vehicle. There is no taxi service and the hotel doesn’t have transport. Wonderful location and value.
To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful
Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel.
Due to medical reasons I was not able to navigate the premise. Angela and staff were amazing in helping my wife and I to cope as well as find suitable accommodations for the remainder of our stay. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Andrea was amazing and took such care to get us settled and get the best deal on our trek/train passes. The hotel is easy to walk to from the train and situated at the top of the main street- perfect location!
Lovely place set in the mountain away from the noise of Cinqueterra. Michael and his wife and their staff were just awesome. Their restaurant was fabulous and an amazing breakfast was included. We had a first floor room so no steps yay! Michael made a great fire in the pit each night . A beautiful courtyard to enjoy drinks by the fire.
5 Terre Pelagos was an incredible place to stay. My wife and I stayed in Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice and Cinque Terre and this was our favorite hotel by far. Loris, the receptionist was extremely helpful. She personally walked us to our room and even booked us a reservation at an amazing restaurant next to the hotel. Clean, comfortable and detailed. Definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Manarola.
Extremely comfy beds and pillows, cold a/c, big shower, staff very friendly, luggage storage, beach towel & shower available on checkout day after going to beach! Short 5 min walk from train station and 2 min walk to beach. Would recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delightful with fresh meats, cheeses and hot options. The manager of the hotel chatted each visitor every morning. She was a wealth of information. These villages were affected by extreme damage from heavy rains in 2011 causing mudslides to devastate the villages. To see the restoration makes you realize how resilient people...
