Hotel staff service is excellent, served chilled juice at check in and always were helpful. Recommend having them set up a rental boat for you! The pool is heated and comfortable. Close to town. Only complaint was the bed is to firm. But I'd still come back happily!!
This is one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed. The room was very large with a beautiful patio overlooking Lake Como. The breakfast was large and amazing serving foods from their own private gardens. Mary and her staff are outstanding and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Don’t miss a chance to stay here! The area to eat breakfast is also a large porch overlooking the lake. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town. The peacefulness and seclusion of this spot was a nice break from...
So glad we stayed here! Such a cute place, clean and had a great balcony. The staff was so nice and the hotel was in a great location close to restaurants and shops.
Spacious apartment at the top of one of the beautiful winding pathways from the main boat terminal . Location couldn’t be better. French press and another coffee machine for use. In-room Washing machine for your dirty clothes and a big balcony to dry them like the locals. Staff is super helpful, you can reach them after hours on WhatsApp and they respond quickly. Highly recommend for a family of 3
Outstanding visit--very classy place! Felt like an Italian princepessa in her family palazzo! Shopping out the front door, excellent meals at 1-star Michelin restaurant, Mistral, and the lakeside cafe. Breakfast was an unexpected feast, beautifully presented. Staff could not be better, Concierge happy to help with the smallest of questions and details. Lake Como is stunning, and Serbelloni is well-known for excellence in this part of the world.
Everything about this property is fantastic, beginning with the 5 star attentiveness and help that Arianna gave us. The apartment is thoroughly updated and will full amenities, including a washer/dryer which came in handy during our three week vacation tour. The apartment is located right smack on the best street of Bellagio; just steps from everything. A great plus was that we had access to a secure garage just 1 block away in which to keep our rental. The only drawback was is that the...
Gorgeous hotel with amazing views of the city. Although it is a little outside the city, you can walk (about 30-45 minutes) or the hotel provides transportation at certain times of the day.
Absolutely loved my experience at Locanda Della Maria. During my search for a hotel in Lake Como, I found most of the accommodations to be outdated and super expensive. Locanda Della Maria is not only extremely affordable relative to other options, but it is contemporary and very clean! AC works great and a fantastic breakfast is included (coffee, fruits, cereals, croissants, breads, meats, cheeses, and cakes). It is about a 20 minute walk to Bellagio but you can take a water taxi for under 2...
Very nicely kept property, spotlessly clean room. The building is a little hard to find, the piazza that is located at is a tiny roundabout, make sure you closely follow google map directions which are accurate. Francesca who runs the guesthouse is great, and really made the experience very easy and pleasant. We arrived by ferry to Belaggio in the evening, with my wife with an injured foot, without realizing that securing some kind of taxi to get to the property was gonna be difficult in an...
We had a lovely two night stay. The innkeepers were friendly and very accommodating telling us about the things to do in the area. There was a resident cat who was friendly and we appreciated that as we were missing our two cats. They made hot chocolate for us one evening and the other evening they brought beer and wine to our room. We had a balcony with lake view which was gorgeous.
To enter the Hotel Excelsior Splendide is to experience the gently fading grandeur of another age. Yes, we had a 'room with a view' of the lake, with the ferries and hydrofoils, the passeggiata, the sun setting over the early 20th Century and George Bloody Clooney's villa somewhere over there. The hotel boasts several sets of plush lounges in the lobby, a restaurant, a lift, and a magnificent marble staircase which we used by preference, because we can, and really just for the grandeur of it...
Was an amazing hotel with gorgeous lake views and the staff were very friendly. The lady went out of her way to set me up with a taxi and also made sure she had a pot of coffee ready for me as I had an early departure.
First time in Italy, this hotel was extremely accommodating. Francesco is one of the employees there and he will go above and beyond to help out guests. He drove us down town and picked us up on multiple occasions, gave us free breakfast vouchers for a great local breakfast eatery, and answered all of our questions. Something else that was reassuring during this stay was Francesco’s english! He was very well spoken which allowed us to learn more about the city and recommendations. If you’re...
