"Great experience at Hotel Villa Carlotta. Quiet location with a lovely pool that unfortunately we didn't have time to use. My only note was it would have been nice to have been offered a drink while we were sat by the pool on our first morning but that's a minor minor detail. Loved it and would have loved to stay longer."

Room was lovely and spacious, delicious breakfast, congenial and helpful staff, lovely building with historical charm complete with a courtyard and small pool. Lots of fine restaurants close by, and you're just fifteen minutes walk to the city center. No complaints whatsoever! "

"Great location and great staff. The rooms and property felt clean, had great views on the terrace. While it wasn’t a big issue for us since it wasn’t extremely hot outside, there is no cooling only heating available in the rooms which confused me since “AC” was listed. The staff provided us a plug in fan and we opened the terrace windows and it kept it cool enough but I probably wouldn’t be comfortable in the warmer months."

"Home away from home at Xmas — We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lungarno. The balcony overlooking the Arno was so special. We felt so pampered after the American breakfast every morning; gave us a great start to a full day in Florence. Special shoutout to Martha and Anxhelo (Angelo) at breakfast, Vincenzo at Picteau Bar, Ilaria at reception, and Mirco at the front door. The staff took hospitality to the next level. "

"Strange place. Sort of trying to be an art hotel. Black hallways, strange twisty furniture. Which is ok with me but my 350 dollar room was quite worn. Desperaty needs new carpet. My balcony was.totally enclosed...so no view of anything. Nice quiet location and good breakfast. IMHO not a 4 star hotel or even close. "

"Great location in the heart of Florence, steps away from the Ponte Vecchio and close proximity to all of the main attractions! The staff is so kind and accommodating and was super helpful and responsive as soon as we booked our reservation from afar. Our main concern was that there was a pretty strong scent as soon as you enter the hotel lobby, and also in our room, reminiscing of wet dog. We ended up canceling the second half of the stay to move a bit further out of the city into Tuscany to get...

We walked everywhere. We only took taxi to and from the train station only because we had a extra luggage. The rooms are beautifully appointed and clean.
