We had an amazing experience in the Locanda San Verola. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner and the two of them were perfect. The wine at dinner was from San Verola itself!The service was outstanding.

A perfect base for the family (or romantic) vacation at Lake Garda. We stauef for 9 nights. Highly recommended.

I spent three nights at the hotel during a business trip to Verona. My room was both beautiful and comfortable. It was relatively spacious for Italy and had everything I needed (including a small umbrella). The hotel is located on the Piazza Santa Anastasia adjacent to the Basillica. It is a short walk to the Piazza Erbe, the center of the ancient city. I enjoyed my stay very much and look forward to returning.

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Friendly and helpful professional staff. They automatically at check in give you a map of the town and highlight all local tourist attractions. They even have partnered with few local businesses restaurants and shops that either give you free drink or discounts. The hotel is well located to train station. Easy walking around the old town. The room is authentic Italian Venetian style decor. However their Lobby and breakfast dinning area is very nicely...

Breakfast is excellent. You can swim in Lago di Garda right off the hotel patio. You do have to walk a bit to and from a paid parking lot, because the hotel is in an Old Town

Great location, great staff, great breakfast, great espresso, and great room. Only negative was that the shower was a bit tight, and I am not a big man. I was able to hone my Italian skills, as my second generation Italian was a bit rusty. Although the staff understood and spoke English, I insisted they communicate with me in Italian, just to test my memory. Did I mention that the espresso was Great?

The Colomba D'Oro is a fabulous hotel -- and a notch above other four star hotels at which I have stayed. The lobby is beautiful, the staff members are exceptionally attentive, the breakfast is generous and tasty, and the location is amazing! This is one of the best European hotel experiences I have had in a long time.
