We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Monchalet our only complaint would be we only spent one night there. The front desk was very welcoming and charming. She took the time to give a tour of the facilities and walked us to our room. The gentleman who brought our luggage from the car and parked was super pleasant and professional. The hotel is beautifully designed and carefully curated in every detail, with exceptionally attentive staff. We loved the stylish common areas and the convenient proximity to the ski facilities. During our summer stay, we enjoyed the variety of activities offered and the excellent cuisine prepared by the chef and his team. From reception to the bar, wellness center, and restaurant, the staff made us feel truly welcome. A highly recommended stay!
The stay was mostly up to expectation with no surprises - good or bad. The pool has a great view of the mountain and is very quiet. The breakfast was good. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The only thing we weren't 100% satisfied with was the room - we booked a bigger room type wanting to enjoy some space. However, I think we were assigned a not-so-good room within the same room type which has a weird config and made the space feel quite cluttered. Other than that everything felt good.
This is a beautiful hotel within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and chairlifts in Ortisei. Rooms were well equipped, clean and had beautiful views. Breakfasts and dinners were outstanding. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.
