Aldi was right across the street and very convenient! I just wish there was a refrigerator and microwave at the hotel. Even the front desk wasn’t able to help us in this regard. (Some hotels have microwave in public areas but this facility didn’t have one.)
This hotel is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortably nestled just outside Dublin, it’s quiet and peaceful and gorgeous! The staff were amazing, The Spa was to die for, and I would only ever want to stay at this hotel if I come back to Ireland :) if I could do a rating of more than 5, I totally would!
Spent a week in Dublin at The Green and could not have been more happy with our decision. Location is excellent, very walkable and centrally located between local and more tourist destinations. Trinity College and Molly Malone are a quick stroll, Temple Bar is a little further (15ish minutes). Local Tram across the street to get to spots further away. St. Stephen's park also right across the street. The weather we had during our stay made the park a nice added bonus.

Hotel was beautiful and rooms were perfect size for a few night stay in Dublin! We truly enjoyed the distance to everything it was all walkable! And staff went above and beyond for us!
Loved the vibe and look, especially the little bar/dining lounge. Food was great. The decor is amazing. The location was perfect, as it was walking distance to everything yet set back a few streets so that was quiet enough. They also held our bags all day on our last day since our train wasn’t leaving until late in the day. This boutique hotel is different than a chain hotel and so worth the money. We stayed for 6 nights and loved our stay. Greatest location for shopping and pubs, very quiet to sleep and the beds and pillows were fantastic. We arrived at 6 am and they had one room ready for us because we had emailed ahead of time that we would Be arriving early. Guest area in lower level was great also. Only problem were the room keys not working very well, frustrating. I would stay again

Very nice hotel with nice amenities and excellent buffet breakfast with savory and healthy options. This property was a great value compared to others we considered, but performed better than the rate would suggest. We were very pleased and have high standards for hotels.
We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay.
This is a nice, clean hotel located approximately 25-30 minutes from central Dublin depending upon traffic. There is a bus stop located in front of a major shopping mall across the street. The service was excellent, the buffet breakfast was very good, and the area was very quiet. You can also take the taxi to central dublin but it'll cost you approximately $30 euros. This hotel has been one of my favorites by far since I started traveling a year ago. Not only was the staff friendly, and helpful they always greeted me with a smile. They had at least one doorman at all times, two concierge, and two front desk staff at all times. All of which were able to help me with any needs that I had. Excellent service at the front desk, prime location and surprisingly fun interior - it was as if a good, solid hotel hired a designer who said "this place needs more whimsey - what the hell, let's go all out!"
We had a wonderful stay. It’s perfectly located near Grafton Street with tons of shopping, restaurants, and pubs within a short walk. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The bartender and bellman gave us fantastic recommendations including a short pub crawl that ended at a nearby pub with traditional Irish music which was a highlight of our trip. It’s a gem of a hotel.
