Free parking. Amazing location in town. Friendly staff. The room was large. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good. Breakfast was included and excellent. Only bad thing was the view out our window.
Just loved this place. Courtney checked us in and was most a accommodating! We loved our room spacious, filled with light with view of the cows in the green green pasture. Just lovely. The bathroom was very modern and large with noce decor. Very clean great decorating love the plaid curtains and art work.
absolutely loved our stay here, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the setting lovely, rooms comfortable, breakfast delicious and plentiful!
only thing I would have like to see was improvement on eco friendly front, replacing the tiny toiletries with bigger bottles that are refilled in the showers and the same with all of the little plastic water bottles.
Enjoyed our two day stay, as we were there for a family event. Spacious rooms, updated baths, comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed dinner as well as drinks at the bar.
We had a lovely stay @ Launard house! Sharon & Adam provided exceptional service & hospitality. This was the 11th lodging stop for us (Scotland & Ireland) and the first to have a top sheet & washcloths, which we appreciated as Americans. Sometimes it’s the little things!😃 We walked into town for dinner with dozens of great dining choices. Breakfast was delicious and we wish we could have stayed longer.
We were in London and Ireland for 10 nights and stayed at a total of 5 locations and this was by far our favorite! It is a beautiful hotel, the beds are extremely comfortable, the staff were so kind, the food was excellent, and the location was very accessible to pubs and the Kilkenny castle. We wished we could stay longer.
Staff was exceptional - very friendly and welcoming. Helpful in making suggestions for a more comfortable stay, recommendations on local sites, and ensuring we had everything we needed. Communication was proactive - loved the room we had. Breakfast meal was very well prepared and tasted wonderful. Parking was a little challenging to find (even with their proactive directions) but was very good once we got there.
We were caught up in the British Air problems when our flight was cancelled requiring us to rebook. We were able to get on a flight one hour earlier than our previous flight, which meant we had to leave in a hurry. The woman at the front desk was wonderful about getting us breakfast to go and directions to Dublin airport. We made our flight, all thanks to her!
The hotel overall was great. The pub and restaurant were great when we didn't want to run back into town. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. It was a lovely choice for an out-of-the-way stay. The bus stop is a short walk from the hotel, and the fare is 2 euros. An Uber into downtown cost us about 13 Euros. We walked into town a few times (about 20-30 min), depending on where you are going. Our room did not have AC (that I saw), so we opened the window at night. Some of the...
Did not realize this hotel was so large and contained so many event space when booking. However, our room felt boutique and elevated. Very large and glamorous space. Only stayed one night. We love Kilkenny.
This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Kilkenny - easy walking to attractions, shopping and dining. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Easy parking across the street. Good breakfast buffet.
This was our favorite spot! Des and Sue hit the jackpot with their property on the little hill that overlooks the town of Waterford, including part of the Waterford castle. They recently rennovated part of their home four years ago so that it is like staying in a VERY nice hotel, but the bed and breakfast comfort/feel. They were incredibly hospitable (even went on a late night ice cream run per my Dad's request--he never intended they go to buy something, just if they already had it; but they...
It was wonderful to be in Ireland again and at this wonderful Hotel. Staff, food & rooms were the best! Even the dinner we had for our Irish cousins in the BAR area was great service and we all enjoyed. Please let all your staff know how great they were. Very Clean & relaxing.
Have a nice day & Many Blessings Jo Ann Thomas
