If you’re going to visit Split, you should consider just one place to stay. This place has it all. Location, great service, nearby parking, stunning views, and a staff that is beyond. Jan was a perfect tour guide and host. Ana was always there with great directions and a smile. The breakfast was lovely and ample. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Apartments Johnny was perfect for my wife and I on our vacation. The staff we're extremely helpful, the building is newly renovated and in great condition, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was a fault on hotels.com who sneakily charged 3 times the normal rate on one of the nights because of a festival. But the festival was in a town 15 minutes away and the traffic had no impact on Apartments Johnny. We felt ripped off by hotels.com
The property was very clean and very close to the beach. The people working were great. The only thing was that the location wasn't as close to downtown as I would have liked. But if you prefer 20 minutes away it was great!

Was a bit concerned with checkout where the proprietor said that the Hotel does not take credit card and I must pay cash (mentioning a nearby ATM). I said to proprietor I was worried about ATM hacking (by skimmer) and using foreign ATM's may have other risks. A beautiful resort with luxurious accommodations. We splurged for the sea view room which was worth every penny - the room and balcony were spacious with stunning views of the property, sea, and sunsets. The pool bar service was slow, but drinks were reasonably priced. We were able to get comfortable accommodations on the beach and by the pool. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night!!
